Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan (Late) — A Visionary Legacy
Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan was not only Pakistan’s greatest scientist but also a philanthropist who dedicated his life to serving the underprivileged. As Chairman of Dr. A.Q. Khan Hospital Trust, he led the vision of a 500-bed free hospital covering 2,20,000 sq ft on a campus of 16 Kanals near Minar-e-Pakistan, Lahore.
"This hospital will provide free-of-cost quality health services and medical facilities to the poor and underprivileged people of Pakistan."
The groundbreaking ceremony was successfully performed by Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan on 7th June 2013. Today, under the chairpersonship of Dr. Dina Khan, his daughter, the vision continues to serve thousands.
